Age of Insomnia
Many people suffer from Insomnia or just suffer from inability to have productive sleep.
Indeed, there might be root cause to insomnia such as stress, heartburn even hyperthyroidism. And in this case the root problem needs to be addressed for the symptom to be be fixed.
But for some, being restless and hyper is the main reason. My son suffers from restlessness and he has tough time getting to sleep. For his case, miraculously playing some relaxing music such as Marconi Union’s Weightless on loop has helped him get to sleep faster. Weightless is scientifically proven to be one of the most relaxing music out there.
Delta Wave frequency has been proven to put our brain in a deep relaxed state.
Transcendental meditation is also supposed to put our brain in a Delta Wave state to put us in a profound deep relaxed state as well.

Beta Waves Frequencies 12 to 30 Hz
Conscious Mind: Normal waking state of consciousness. Alertness, concentration, focus, cognition and the five physical senses.
Alpha Waves Frequencies 7.5 to 12 Hz
Gateway of subconscious Mind: Deep relaxation and light meditation usually with eyes closed. Relaxation, visualization, creativity and super learning.
Theta Waves Frequencies 4 to 7.5 Hz
Subconscious Mind: Usually light sleep, including REM dream state. Deep meditation, intuition, memory, and vivid visual imagery.
Delta Wave Frequencies up to 4 Hz
Usually deep sleep, dreamless state, Transcendental meditation. Automatic self-healing, immune system function.
